Nepali movies, lacking behind

For me it was 5 years before when I was satisfied by the Nepali movies. The movies I see now, really take me out from the cinema hall.

The same old thing with little bending, Nepali movies show the same thing. Boy girl, hero villain stuffs on every movie. Can’t there be a story without love story, or fight scenes? Yes there can be, but why the Nepali filmmakers are just trying to escape new ideas saying the viewers are not ready for change?

The video quality is non good either. Have you seen them, they look like of the 80s, scraps of dots in the video, low picture quality and many more. And not to forget the songs. The songs are not good either. Some are copied from others, mostly bolly, usually same type of music and lyrics. I also saw some rap songs, but those songs were worse for my ears to hear. We still consider bad faced peoples to be villains and handsome s to be the heroes.

Talking about Kagbeni, it had was very futuristic movie, the video quality was superb, new story, and good quality actors. Though the movie was not successful I guess it has gave some positive impact to others so to make change in their style of working.

Any way my favorite Nepali movie is: Darpanchaya

Nepal Royal Massacre, Crown prince was not guilty

Yesterday, on TV I saw special news showcasing that the murderer of our Nepal’s Royal Famly on Friday, June 1 2001 was not the Crown prince Dipendra; it was someone else with the mask of Dipendra.

Well know what? I am not surprised. Many Nepalese are not surprised either. The fact that Dipendra didn’t killed the Royals is already known to us, Nepalese. The news just adds more confirmation to the belief.

The issue was already raised by the book “Raktakunda”. It clarified that the murderer was someone else with the mask of Dipendra on. The book is also suspicious about Ganendra (the king after the late king Birendra) helping in conducting the ill work.

Now that Nepal is a republic we can hope that the massacre issue can be solved soon.

Omg! Adsense everywhere

Many peoples here in Nepal has just started to use the internet and they have known about the Adsense, and only adsense for now.

Adsense an adverting branch from Google which helps you earn money from your website or blog is been used widely all over the world. Here in Nepal it has spread like a wild fire; i don’t know elsewhere than the Kathmandu valley.

There are many small companies now opened which tend to guarantee to get payments from adsense, not the  $100 but $1000s. They take some money from some fool costumers who pay for that free service and what they learn from there..? They learn how to cheat with adsense. Do the invalid clicks and earn fast money. Yes this is reality ,and it is done and promoted by some private companies, openly. The goverment does nothing, moreover i don’t guess they even know about it because of ignorance about the internet or the internet advertisement.

For a person who widely uses internet, the adsense might be an easy(or wise) place to earn money. But i know many newbies who don’t even had their email address, now have started to register email for the sake of Adsense. They are guided by other peoples or companies, and most guidelines are the scamming with adsense.

Why?  Ok how easy do you think earning from adsense is? For a established person it may be easy but for the newbies it is very close to impossible to earn from adsense the saint way. So to earn the fast money Scamming is the only way. There are many forums, chat groups and peoples around the world who does it.

A bicycle ride to Nagarkot – 27th may 2008

“Cycle Rally Lorry Rally” can you repeat that fast, up to 10 times? That is a tongue twister if you don’t know.

Nagarkot is to the north of Bhaktapur about 8KMs far. So close but I have not gone there any time. Nagarkot is a hilly place with beautiful landscapes and in the winter the snow fall makes it a heaven.

So for the first time I and my friend were going to Nagarkot, and with a bicycle. Many peoples had a very good trip to Nagarkot by riding cycles and now I was going to try how good it was. We got two bicycles and they were just fine but gears were semi working. We started off from Kamalbinayak Bus Park. The road was plane on the starting but it gradually went on getting higher and higher and tougher for us to ride.

Suddenly, my chains came off the paddle. I had to stop and fix it and again went on. Soon I came to find that it was never ending. I guess it came out for at least 5 times on the way up. Exhausted and dying to have a rest, we reached Nagarkot. We had to rest under a tree, ate some food. We had a tough time riding on the hill but we were excited to go down the hill.

We took some time wandering around Nagarkot. We went to a famous tower. We saw the tower and though, what is it so famous about the tower? We climbed the tower; we were welcomed by the beauty of Nagarkot. All the surroundings were looking very beautiful. It was like we were on the top of the world. I guess that was the answer.

Later on, moving down the hill was the most fantastic ride. No any sort of tiredness, and it was so cool to ride on the ups and downs. It was like riding a horse down the hill, it was a very good experience.

A diary 16th Dec 2005

Well this is a flash back of the situation in Nepal or precise to say in Bhaktapur. This diary is set on the Contrary of clashes due to killing spree of 12 peoples in Nagarkot.

I got up with the echoing sounds of peoples in my house. Ahh! the clashes are still going on. Today was Yomari Pune.

yomariYomari pune is a small festival in Newari families. In the day we cook delicious Yomaris. The name Yomari comes from two Nepal Bhasa words, “yo” meaning “to like” and “mari” meaning “delicacy”. Yomari is made of rice flour and has sweet substances like chaku(i don’t know the English synonym) inside it. Just look at the pic..

On the Suryabinayak site stone war is going on, however we are safe on the Durbar Square Area till now. I had to go to my nursery in Suryabinayak. That wasn’t a tough thing to do eventhough there was fight there, instead we were excited to watch the fight with police. So I with my brother went to our Nursery. We were inspecting the plants and watering them. Then suddenly some groups of teens came running inside our nursery, to our surprise, police were behind them. OMG, I could not think what to do. I am of the teen age and i though the police are going to catch me too. So I went inside the Green House. Soon most of those boys were caught. Police were going to catch my brother too, he said that he was not one of them. But the police didn’t listen to him, so at once he jumped to the bars, broke them out and ran off.

Well now i was like all alone inside the small Green House. I though to escape through the green house and i did so through the back. My hands had been all muddy and immediately a police came to me and hit me on my arm, AWW! that was so painful. I told them that i was not the boys running from, i was working in the Nursery. Then the police asked me to show my hand, I had a muddy hand so he belived me and left me. Same time another police came and tried to beat me but the noble police stopped him. From then I was safe with the police but still that one hit on the arm was very painful.

I kept quite watching the scenes. One of which i saw were two small kids, may be of 10 and 8. The police tried to catch them. The police got the small kid however the bigger kid ran off leaving a police man on grounds. That was a little funny scene. But it was not so funny with the big boys. If they were caught they were brutally beaten up.

Well with small pain i went home. The Yomari was waiting for me there. I enjoyed the whole evening with the Yomari. This day would be really memorable.
